How to install

    Open the DMG

    Double-click Local-Transcriber.dmg in your Downloads folder.

    Drag to Applications

    Drag Local Transcriber into your Applications folder.

    Launch & grant permissions

    Open the app and allow Microphone and Speech Recognition when prompted. That's it.

Having trouble?

"Local Transcriber" can't be opened because it's from an unidentified developer

Right-click the app in Applications and select Open. Click Open again in the dialog. You only need to do this once.

No audio is being captured

Make sure you've granted Microphone permission in System Settings → Privacy & Security → Microphone. Restart the app after granting access.
